Department of Gujarati

Introduction

  • The department was established in 1994.
  • The Department of Gujarati has been working actively since last 28 years in imparting education to students at Graduate and post Graduate Level.
  • It is the proud privilege of the Gujarati Department that four teachers have Ph.D. Degrees and among four two teachers are Ph.D. guide and all are actively engaged in research.
  • Currently Dr. K. V. Ganvit is heading the Department.

Aims & Objectives

  • To offer curriculum nurturing cultural and human values in society
  • To develop Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking skills of students in Gujarati language
  • To preserve the Mother Tongue through proper teaching of it
